We’ve always gone to Brampton fisherman drive location when the fish and chips craving hits….we came to the Bolton location for the first time with our 3 children and absolutely loved it! Food was phenomenal…we didn’t get that heavy feeling after the meal that you usually get with fried foods. Everything tasted fresh and was brought out hot and ready to eat. We will definitely be back next craving!
great place , just wish they had fresh perked coffee and not instant, blah a minor detail however, would have been nice to have a fresh brew to round off the dining experience!
Updated July 26, 2025 I've gone back to this place several times since my last review. It's so freaking good. I fear for my waistline, as I will keep coming back. --- Original review: Ordered haddock and chips, and a haddock with onion rings. Really delicious! The inside of the restaurant is clean and cute. Couldn't believe how much they managed to fit inside of the takeout boxes. Friendly staff. The house made tartar sauce is delicious! It's not tangy like the packet tartar and it's dill forward, really delightful. The curry sauce is stunning. They do have the usual packet tartar sauce available. May this place stay around for decades to come!
We had such a great lunch here. The staff was super friendly. Large portions and fair pricing. Not a little plastic container of tartar sauce, but a huge jar. Loved the big bottle of ice water you get when you ask for water. The picture is Joe saying 'how am I going to eat all this?!'
This is our second time visiting this location, and we drive in all the way from Mississauga - it’s that good! We love this place and location. The portions of both haddock and halibut were generous and delicious. The menu offers a fantastic variety, making it easy to find something for everyone. Highly recommend! And their staff are fantastic, nice and welcoming!
Such a rude owner and staff. I never recommend this restaurant. I came here to pick up an uber order, and the so called owner treated me like a servent .. even she dont know how to talk to customers. Actually i didnt had the bag to pick up the order and she just shouted on me like a angry pig.. atleast you guyz can politely stay that "we cant hand order to you"... i have nt seen such a rubbish lady in my while 20 years of life....... i dont argue with silly, rude and stupid people because i want BOLTON to be city full of good people,...... i just cancelled the order and came out..... Will never never never pick up any order from this restaurant in future? Reply--- mr i have checked the location and then i posted the review... now dont be afraid..let the people know
We ordered 3 meals, halibut was tough, fries and sweet potato fries were hard and cold. Though we ordered it and even asked for confirmation on pickup, Mozzarella sticks were not included in the order even though we were charged for it. Most expensive and worst fish & chips we've ever had! Bolton location
