I was recomanded to Flower Workshop by a friend of mine that lives on the area. I was looking for a local florist for my son's wedding (he leaves out of country). From the first visit on the shop, Rita and Stephanie were so professional and polite. They were so open to hear our requests and offered very important inputs. They were so prompt to comunicate with us for every question that we had. And they delivered on the day off wedding not only what they promised, but went far e beyond. The most gorgeous, organic and natural floral arrangement I could have asked for!! With less than a week's notice, I spoke to Rita with regards to my beautiful Mother's funeral and that I was on a budget considering everything else that comes along with funeral arrangements. Personally, I was looking for something not totally 'funeral' standard because it was a 'Celebration of Life' for her. I knew what my mom liked and that was something country, natural and SIMPLY pretty but, meaningful. Just by asking me a few questions about style, colour scheme, budget along with an image I sent of my mom's urn, Rita designed what can only be described as perfect - and I couldn't have pictured it any more beautiful than it turned out. During such a difficult time like this, it was so amazing that she could have put together exactly what I was asking for. From our discussion of my mom's affinity for hummingbirds and her interests in nature, Rita created a lovely send off in honour of my mom through her creative floral design including little hummingbirds, butterflies and branches to compliment the pretty roses and other flowers to surround the urn. So very happy that we went with Flower Workshop for our September wedding. The flower arrangements for the ceremony, bouquets and reception were absolutely stunning, fresh and came out exactly as envisioned. Rita and her team went above and beyond in the lead up to the wedding and on the day-of. My mom and I were able to stop by the shop multiple times to brainstorm ideas, see samples and to speak with one of the lead floral designers.
