Please recently changed ownership and the food has been outstanding . Have had wings as well as butter chicken and both were as good as any in Bolton but much more affordable. Highly recommend you give them a chance . You won’t be disappointed
Absolute zero rating! The entire experience bordered on the ridiculous. As soon as we walked in we were hit with an incredibly strong curry odor. Three of us ordered breakfast, eggs and sides coffees and a tea with ice water. After what seemed like an eternity a plate of bacon, eggs and homefries arrived - still no coffee or tea or ice water. After literally another 10 minutes another plate came with eggs, sausage and homefries - still no drinks. At that point we asked if she was the only one working and were informed that she was. When the third plate arrived after another 10 minutes it had become ludicrous - but we were determined to see it through. After more prompting two coffees finally arrived then a few minutes later the tea - never did get any ice water. As for the food itself - to put it mildly it was horrible. The eggs were not cooked to order - all just hard fried, sausages tasteless, bacon was scraps of half strips and half back bacon. The coffee was like dishwater. Surprisingly the tea was drinkable. By the time it was over it was just laughable. Oh and it took about twenty five minutes of waiting to check out - AND THERE WERE NO OTHER EAT-IN CUSTOMERS!! Maybe the most ridiculous thing was that the server had no idea that anything was wrong with the service.
I don’t even know where to start… Maybe we can start with the kitchen smoke and smells that hit you as soon as you walk into the restaurant. The place isn’t ventilated well so it’s all hazy up in there. But at that moment I took it as a good sign, the food must hit! We sat down, craving some wings. They advertise that they have over 100 flavours - but since I have trust issues I wanted to stick with what I know is good. So of course we ordered the spicy gar par and fusion ranch. (Quick back story - we came here after dropping off a car to get the windshield replaced) We waited and waited, which I continued to take as a good sign hoping the food is gonna hit. Before the food made it to the table, the car shop called to let us know the repair was done… let that sink in… you can replace a windshield in the time it takes to get these wings. 15 minutes after that, the wings came. I think they meant 100 flavour of the same thing Cus those 2 flavours tasted exactly the same. I’d be fine if they tasted good and the same, but no. The flavours LACKED!!! However, I’ll give them a point for it at least being cooked right. Trash spot tho… idk how y’all are giving out these 5 star reviews. There’s a wild wings around the corner that’s better than this. Waste y’all’s money there.
Large portions and in general delicious food. The environment is very calm and pleasant. There are a couple of things because of which I most likely will not go to this cafe again: 1. The number of flies is just annoying, they are everywhere... 2. My wife received her food 10-15 minutes before me, by the time they brought it to me, her eggs and coffee are already cold. The most interesting thing is that our orders were almost the same, it was just breakfast, scrambled eggs and an omelet. And they brought undercooked omelet.....
Our first dining out experience in Canada and it was wonderful. We ordered mix veg, dal makhni & tandoori roti.Food quantity & price were good and the taste is simply awesome. The staff was very friendly. I can not wait to be back.
I was excited to try this place after seeing the great views but was very disappointed in the service and food. Although we were the only ones there, the food took very long to prepare (about 30 min)? I would have appreciated if we were not told how long it would take. There was also a shortage of some of the breakfast items on the menu. I ordered a popcorn chicken poutine and while the portions were big, I was disappointed that cold shredded cheese was used, and the popcorn seemed like there was just one chicken finger that was cut up and tossed in. Perhaps it's because we visited on a weekend afternoon, but I wouldn't recommend this place.
Amazing restaurant!! I was very excited to see a restaurant with Sri Lankan items on the menu. We tried the wings today, best wings I've had for sure ! I cannot wait to try the other items , especially the Kothu. Definitely a gem in Bolton.
