What brings us to this store is Nicole’s lovely customer service and a willingness to ensure that her customers leave the store happy. It was our first time visiting here, and we weren’t disappointed at all. Their sausage rolls and handmade pies are delicious and reminded us of home ❤️ We’re so glad that they aren’t too far away.
Small shop with a decent variety of british goods. The fresh baked section is small but looks tasty. The frozen british goods also had an okay variety and appeared fresh. Sweet treats were standard british variety with Quality street,Foxes and Roses abound. There were a few ornaments and trinkets..overall a comparable small slice of british goodness ....I just didnt feel comfortable in the store. The person I was with also felt that despite the pleasantries, it felt ackward. I was taking pics for my review ( as I am all about British stores in the GTA) but I was told there is an online catalogue. I had to explain why I was taking pics. Google Map photos can sometimes help a business faster than searching a website especially when you didnt know a place existed. Google photos/ reviews is what led me to the store. The owner (I am assuming) just didnt seem genuine and we felt conscious being there. I am giving 4 stars because the store has decent products, a star is lost because I need to feel comfortable shopping there. Could've been a one off and I always give 2nd chances so I will be returning to see if my initial review remains valid.
I have been to quite a few British stores - but this one is my favourite by far. Lovely family owned store, amazing selection and fresh made handpies. Highly recommend you visit!
Love this new place, very friendly owner and has everything I need in a British store. It's stocked up with my favorites such as potato scones, black pudding and UK chocolate. I tried the scotch pies, curry chicken pie, and their own handmade hand pies that are ready to pop in the oven when you don't feel like cooking. Delicious! Worth checking out!
Decided to pop in on a whim and I'm glad a did. Such a wonderful little shop! Lots of treats and the handpies I got were delicious! Definitely will be going back.
Always good to find another British store in bolton, popped by and grabbed some crisps and sweets. Nicest person runs the store if I could rate higher I would.
