Food is incredible! Gnocchi, pizza, pasta unbeatable. Show up hungry, leave perfectly satisfied. Service is excellent. The atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend A++++ The real deal for fine Italian dining.
I've been coming here for years. Tony, the owner, is also the chef and is a really nice guy. The food is excellent quality and they are reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend! Allegro is not one to miss when in Bolton. The location is perfect, ample parking with a very cute patio and intimate dining experience. Prices are VERY comparable to other restaurants downtown however the portions are MUCH larger and the quality of food is amazing. The service was impeccable, Tony was so friendly and made our first visit a memorable one. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I had dinner there just as a by chance thing on our little trip to the McMichael Gallery. We were blown away! Our app was Burrata on greens with fresh ripe tomatoes with a balsamic vinaigrette, delicious. Then Jan had Ravioli that she really enjoyed and I had Scaloppini al Limone, delicious veal in a lemon sauce accompanied by penne olio. I am allergic to bell peppers and celery, which limited my sauce choices, but Tony made my meal special. I had a Creme Brulle and Jan had Tiramisu (as I remember). Both remarkably good. Espresso Corretto and Cappuccino to finish. Hurrah!
Fine Italian dining in downtown Bolton with awesome food, good ambience and a great host, Tony! Tony is the owner/host/chef. He’s very friendly, tentative and a great cook. Our personal favourite is his mushroom soup (off the menu). We’ve been to Allegro 3 times now. It’s become our birthday tradition and hope to continue it for many years.
Wonderful restaurant! The service here was fantastic. Tony really cares about his customers and goes the extra mile to ensure a great dining experience. The food was delicious.
